Hi, I’m Kylee Dare,
Founder of Purposeful Leadership.
In my 30+ years working as a manager, director and a part of leadership teams, I’ve seen first hand the impact coaching can have. When we ask powerful questions and encourage better conversations, we’re able to unlock previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.
My path to here has been anything but conventional—from the only female partner of a large corporation to permanently disabled from an injury. But that injury ultimately provided “uninvited clarity”; a do-over and the chance to inspire and motivate others to dare to imagine what’s possible.
As an executive and leadership coach, I work one-on-one and with teams to support talented individuals to find their purpose and be the best version of themselves.

2005
I was a Wife, Mum of 2
and the first female equity partner of an Accounting and Business Advisory firm.
2017
A spinal cord stimulator was embedded in my spine and I began intensive rehab to improve functional ability and to reduce my medication. I started to feel more capable again.
2011
I suffered an injury that resulted in spinal complications and left me permanently disabled.
2018
I received a knock on the door and an invitation to return to work as a non executive director. That knock opened my metaphorical door just a crack, and I could see a light I thought I’d lost.
2012
After desperately trying to return to work 3 times and failing, I had to retire from the career that I loved.
2018
I realised I’d been gifted a “do-over”; my chance to start again.
My leadership style, purpose and intent changed. I had a new
perspective on life which only disability can bring.
2012-17
I lived in debilitating pain, with impaired cognitive function from medication. I barely left my house.
2019
I began co-facilitating a
leadership development program focused on supporting women into partnership opportunities, and started my coaching certification process.
How did we get here
2020
I created the Purposeful Leadership, motivating others to find their vision of success and pursue it unapologetically with perspective, purpose, and clarity.
